Dan Urriola

Biography

My wide instrument history began with the Trumpet as a child in a music supportive home. I later marched DCI a year on Soprano and one on Mellophone, and gave the Sousaphone a couple High School marching years. After being completely mesmerized by an Oboe one concert, I took it up and played through my years at Boise State University where I majored in Music Composition. During all of this time I was a "side" guitar and rock n roll fanatic. Since college I have become a Luthier, played Guitar, Set, or Piano in several small bands, and now I teach at the Elko Arts Academy.
